Better than the big-name brands I've owned.
I’ve had Denon and Marantz units before, but the AVR-1046 holds its own for a fraction of the price. The interface is surprisingly clean and the calibration was straightforward. It’s heavy, built like a tank. My only regret is not buying it sooner. Solid 5 stars for the sheer value and port selection.

My basement is officially a movie theater.
Just finished my 7.2.4 Atmos setup with this beast and wow... the spatial audio is incredible. I was worried about the power, but it drives my floorstanding speakers with zero effort. The overhead effects in Dune literally gave me goosebumps. If you want that true 3D sound without spending five grand, this AVR is the sweet spot. Absolute powerhouse.
