OpenAudio has announced a new collaboration with Ambiance Cinema and Musimap to develop a smart audio showroom in Avignon, France, aimed at demonstrating next-generation multi-room audio solutions for residential and commercial environments.

The project brings together three complementary strengths: OpenAudio’s HOLOWHAS multi-zone streaming amplifiers, Ambiance Cinema’s expertise in high-end audiovisual system design, and Musimap’s AI-driven music intelligence platform. The showroom will serve as a real-world reference installation, showcasing how hardware, content, and control systems can be integrated into a unified, scalable solution.
Designed with both residential and light commercial applications in mind, the installation will highlight flexible audio distribution across multiple zones, allowing users to manage synchronized or independent playback throughout different areas of a property. The system will also demonstrate seamless integration with smart building technologies, including KNX-based control environments.
The initiative reflects a growing demand across Europe for open, interoperable alternatives to closed proprietary ecosystems. By combining open integration approaches with intelligent content curation, the solution aims to provide integrators and end users with greater flexibility in system design and long-term scalability.
